2019 Cricket World Cup: 'This World Cup will be all rounders'

In an interview to the ICC website, West Indies's former captain and the 1975 World Cup final of the 1975-year-old Clive Lloyd predicted that in the Cricket World Cup starting from May 30 in England  Allrounders will play a crucial role.

Former captain's opinion is the makers of flat-bats batting in England, which will usually cause difficulties for bowlers and therefore the chances of success of all-rounders will be more light in global competitions.
Claveau Lloyd says, "From Afghanistan to England and West Indies from West Indies, every team has the best all-rounders.  That's why I'm sure the World Cup will be all-rounders.
The West is confident that the West Indies will get the best performance in the World Cup.  In March this year, West Indies played a five-match series with the ICC Numbers team England, which was equal.
Referring to the decision to join the All-rounder Andrew Russell team, Olivewood's Lloyd said that Russell's involvement would increase the West Indies's success in the World Cup.

Although West Indies' all-rounder Andrey Russell did not play a single-day match from August 2018, his performance has improved in T20 tournaments in various countries of the world.

"The West Indies Cricket Board has called back its main players, which are showing better performance in various tournaments around the world," said Lloyd.  They will do their best.  Over the past 20 years, we have lost good cricketers.  I think good players have come back once again with a better performance. "

When asked if the World Cup was in its 2019 World Cup team, he replied, "In the UK people think England will show better performance this time."

'There is no doubt that their performance has improved in recent years.  Their team is balanced.  England will prove to be tough competitors this time.

West Indies won the Cricket World Cup twice, in 1975 and in 1979, led by Clive Lloyd.  The West Indies Football Team was also in the 1983 World Cup, but India's all-rounder Kapil Dev poured out water on his hopes.  In the first innings of 183 runs, the entire West Indies team scored 140 runs and India won the final match by 43 runs.

Talking about this World Cup, Lloyd said: 'We all thought we would go on and wicket.'  But it was a different matter.  We came out one by one.  I give credit to my bowlers who did not make India even 200 runs in 60 overs.  We could not do anything to the batsman. '
